I'm so happy with the finished biography. It's incredibly good. You have an amazing gift to draw stories out of people that might otherwise lie fallow. There are no ordinary lives. Lots of love to you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Seeing Grandpa's book and the pictures of him in his youth really began to put me in touch with my grandfather as a person... This was a not-so-minor revelation. For the first time I could see behind myself and see that I was the product of not just myself and my parents, but their parents, and their parents, and their parents… Reading through Grandpa's book has further cemented the fact that my life, my happiness, and my sorrows had much deeper roots than I really had a handle on.... Our place in time is rooted in our past and can only be secured in our future. With this book, Grandpa has given me the gift of his past, rooting my place in time, and helping me secure my future and the future of all that come after me.

You are a gift from God. All of my life I wanted my story written.

My book has captured a lifetime of memories which would have otherwise been lost forever. Because of all of my illnesses, it has only been by the grace of God that I have been blessed with the opportunity to compile and complete such a legacy. May all who read my story realize that with the many trials of my life have also been many triumphs. And this project is one of my triumphs. Thanks be to God for this victory.

I grew up in an abusive home and did not live with my mother after I was 12 years old. A miracle happened when I was 44 years. Unexpectedly when I read her life-story book, I found total and complete forgiveness for the past. I was able to have a free and unhindered relationship with my mother before she died.
